Py – Lungs (produced by George FitzGerald)

Just in case you were not convinced to check out George FitzGerald stuff yet. Another young talent to watch for sure is Py. And here’s also a youtube channel to keep your ears on. That guy is sharing lot of great stuff – UK stuff – garage, so called “post-dubstep” sounds… let’s say soulful bass music. Another great found! Cheers man.

Eclectic Soul 09 w/ Flying Lotus, Debukas, Burial, dBridge…

Here’s the 9th episode of my podcast. I just took an engagement with myself to deliver it strictly every month.

The show starts with some picks from Eddie Allamand who delivers 30 minutes of pure downtempo goodness, including one of his tracks. Then I go one with some new and old beats of all kinds from Blockhead to Mount Kimbie, progressing to uk garage/two-step/bass stuff from Submerse, Burial to finish with a few dnb tunes including that amazing track from Planas, remixed by dBridge.

Speech is in French as it’s easier for me and I’m planning to send it to a local radio to hopefully go on air. If it annoys you and really want the music track only, Get in touch and I’ll send it to you.

Enjoy!

Release date: April 30 2012

EDIT
Just found the original track where the quoted vocal sample comes from. It’s a 1968 Psychedelic tune called The Black Door from The Loose Enz. Love to find old original tunes this way… Nice one Blockhead! Also, check out Phat Friend blog, the one he’s running, there are even some unreleased compilations he delivers from time to time.
